医療英語講座 これだけ覚えてすぐに使える！シリーズは、看護師のちかさんが、入院患者のマークさんの対応に奮闘しながら成長していくストーリーになっています。 この講座はその6本目です。今回のちかは英語で採血に挑戦しています。 まずは、講座冒頭のショートビデオを見てみましょう。医師から血液検査のオーダーが入ったため、ちかは患者さんの元に採血に向かいました。しかし、不安がる患者さんに対して気の利いた一言や、採血の手順についてきちんと説明することができず患者さんはストレスを感じているようでした。 ちかと一緒に採血時に役立つ英語を学んでいきましょう。ここで学ぶフレーズはとても簡単なものが多いですがいずれもとても重要です。 ＊重要フレーズ＊ What’s your name? 名前は何ですか？ May I have your name? 名前を伺えますか？ What’s your date of birth? 誕生日は何ですか？ What’s your patient number? 患者番号は何ですか？ May I have a look at your wristband? リストバンドを見てもいいですか？ I am here for blood sampling. 採血にきました。 I need to take some blood from you. 採血が必要です。 Are you OK with needles? 針は大丈夫ですか？ Have you done this before? 以前やったことがありますか？ Do you need to go to the bathroom? トイレにいきますか？ Do you need to lay down? 横になりますか？ ＜採血の手順を英語で説明＞ Step1. I am going to clean the area with alcohol wipes first. アルコール綿で消毒しますね。 It may feel a little cool on your skin. アルコールは肌に触れると少しひんやりします。 Step2. I am going to place a tourniquet on your arm. 腕に駆血帯を巻きますね。 You may feel tightening. 締め付けられます。 Step3. Hold your hands lightly. 両手を軽く握ってください。 Can you please make a tight fist for me and hold it. こぶしを強く握ってください。 Ok, you can relax your hand now. OKです、手の力を抜いてください。 Step4. I will insert the needle. 針を挿入しますね。 It may hurt a little. 少し痛いですよ。 Step5. It’s almost over. / We are nearly done. もう終わりますよ。 Are you feeling OK? 具合は大丈夫ですか？ Step6. What’s your name? まずIDの確認をします。お名前は？ Patient: Mark Scott. マーク、スコット Chika:What’s your date of birth? 生年月日はいつですか？ Patient: 15th January 1987 1987年1月15日です。 Chika:May I have a look at your wrist band? リストバンドを見てもいいですか？ Patient:Sure もちろん Chika: All good. Do you need to go to the bathroom beforehand? バッチリです。事前にトイレに行きますか？ Patient: No, I have just done it. 大丈夫です。今行きました。 Chika: Have you done a blood test before? 採血をしたことがありますか？ Patient: Yes, I do a couple of times. But I am not a big fan of this. 何回かありますが、あまり好きじゃないんです。 Chika: Do you need to lay down on the bed? ベッドに横になりますか？ Patient: Yeah, probably. I should. そうですね、そうします。 Chika: Is this better? 少し良いですか？ Patient: Well, I think so. Last time I felt pretty dizzy after this. はい。。前回は終わったあとめまいがしました。 Chika: Relax,please. It won’t take long. 安心して下さい。そんなに長くはかかりません。 Patient: OK わかりました。 Chika: I am going to clean the area with alcohol wipes first. まず酒精綿で部位をきれいにしますね。 Patient: OK はい。 Chika: I am going to place a tourniquet on your arm. You may feel tightening. 駆血帯を腕に巻きます。締め付けられますよ。 Patient:OK オッケーです。 Chika: Hold your hands lightly, Relax. 軽く手を握って下さい、リラックスして。 Patient:All right. わかりました。 Chika: I will insert the needle. It may hurt a little. We are nearly done. Are you feeling OK? 針を挿入します。少し痛いかもしれません。もう少しで終わりますよ。大丈夫ですか？ Patient: I am fine. 大丈夫です。 Chika: All done! I am going to place a cotton ball here. Hold this for a couple of minutes. 終わりました。綿球をおきますね。ここを数分押さえていて下さい。 Patient: It was not that bad. 悪くなかったね。 Chika: See? Are you feeling dizzy? でしょ？めまいがしますか？ Patient: I am alright. 大丈夫です。 Chika: Sounds good. The results will be ready by tomorrow morning. よかったです。結果は明日の朝までにわかります。
